Directions to the Red Shirt Observing Site

1.  Go to Hermosa, SD.

2.  Travel east on Highway 40 (Main Street) for 19.3 miles from Highway 79.

3.  You should see a small gravel road to the left which has a small orange sign #15810.

4.  Travel 0.95 miles on the gravel road to a small dirt track on the right.

5.  Go a few hundred feet up the dirt track to the area where we set up our scopes.

First time visitors to the site should plan to arrive before dark.

Those who arrive after dark should avoid shining bright lights on observers and their equipment, i.e. use parking lights as you get close.
